First, we had to clean out the phone to charge it. It was filled with lint and something else that was sticky. Then, after charging the phone, we called Sprint to activate the phone only to find out that the phone did not have a Sprint registered ESN. I contacted the seller to get the correct number to activate the phone and was asked to provide all the numbers on the phone which I did. The seller promised to call Sprint and never replied that the numbers were ineffective however having worked for a wireless company for 3 years, I found that this phone would never activate through Sprint. I returned the phone according the return shipping instructions via USPS and the seller supposedly has not received this phone, even though he promised to refund me for the phone. I will report it lost or stolen so that the seller will not be able to sell this defective phone to someone else, thereby doubling his money. This company is a scam and a rip off and I am seriously considering not using Amazon anymore either. A shame, really, because I really like the concept of Amazon and have used Amazon for a few years and spent a decent amount of money here.
